Honestly, I'd go with Home Assistant over Hubitat for flexibility. Note that the tradeoff.
ZigbeeExplorer: YMMV, but in practice — Zigbee works great in my case.

Fair point. Excellent observation about the performance impact. However, the flexibility is worth the extra effort.
